Sun rays, like angels
shining on me and you both
awakening the flowers in bloom
encouraging us all to breath
deeper and deeply
photosynthesis of the world
giving, gifting your light

remind me to look at you
so I can see again

through my eyes
my skin remembers
and feeds off of you
my body, my mind, my soul
we rise together
as the ills and worldly ailments
dissipate
all at once
because of your light
